 By Kevin "K-MO" Mohammed

Released earlier today, was our first glimpse of Pokemon Sun and Moon since the announcement of the game a few month ago. The trailer showcased a few of the newest Pokemon to date including legendaries and starters. The footage also gave us a general idea of the region, Alola.

Starters

What better way to start by giving us a look at some of the starters? Starters usuallly are a make-or-break topic for most Pokemon games and are renown for beiing one of the hardest decisions that a gamer has to make. With that let's see if these starters hit the mark.

Rowlet (Mukuroh)

Known as the Grass Quill Pokemon

(or more commonly being called the

Barn Owl Pokemon by fans), Rowlet is

the grass starter Pokemon that the player

can choose from in Sun and Moon. Aside from

being a Grass-type Pokemon, Rowlet has also

been confirmed to also be a Flying-type. Rowlet

also come with a new move, Leafage.

Litten (Nyabby)

Known as the Fire Cat Pokemon (or by some as

the Grumpy Cat Pokemon), Litten is the fire

starter that the player can choose in Sun and

Moon. While they have not released information

about the starter's evolutions, I highly believe

that Litten will likely turn intoa tiger-like Pokemon,

which would be awesome.

Poppilo (Ashimari)

Finally, we have the Sea Lion Pokemon, Poppilo

whih is the water starter that the playr can choose

in Sun and Moon. Poppilo seems to follow the very

recent trend in Water-Types of having some type

of object that they use (i.e. Oshawott and his

scallchop, Froakie and his water shurikens.) In this

case, Poppilo uses water-shaped ballons as his

signature weapon.
